Five of Arrows - Frustration

This card draws one's attention to focus on one's energies on his/her target. Do not be distracted by rumours or lies that has been going around. You have done fine thus far since this 'worry' arise about 2 weeks ago. Yes, it isn't easy, but keep practicing, you have (slowly) came to an understanding that anything that takes emotional focus away from achieving a real and deserved goal is just that; a distraction. If one gives in to distractions, you are just fueling the opposition's ego.

Approach humour to diffuse and deflect the effects of frustration. Take a moment to laugh at yourself, and see the irony in situations that case such distractions. See the futility of games played against you to frustrate your efforts and coolly go about your business, with a mature and steady intention. Take time to steady your aim and ignore your distractions. Stay on target and loose your arrows at your goals with a cool and purposeful precision

So why are you wasting efforts on applying unfocused energy or anger? Always remember that they are nothing but like the four arrows that missed the target, they are just wasted valuable resources and energy.

Three of Arrows - Jealousy

There may be some tension of emotions creating fear, jealousy or envy between people. Competing passions or feelings of resentment that are ultimately destructive. Resentment or negative attitudes towards family, friends or business associates born of emotional insecurity or social prejudice.

The origins of jealousy can be infinitely varied, uniquely subjective and deeply rooted in socioeconomic or psychological soil, but whether born of broken heart, a broken dream or broken economic system, beware of surrendering humility and forgiveness to feelings of envy or jealousy. The most commonly associated emotional drive linked to jealousy is loss. It is however perceived by the individual, as it behoves both the 'victim' of jealousy and the subject suffering feelings of envy to look deeply into the nature of their own motives and responsibilities.

For the jealous or possessive, there is also sometimes a feeling of 'entitlement' attached to the issue. This can be attributed to concepts of social or familial expectations born of ill-conceived peer guidance, or the failure to enforce social responsibilities and parameters. As we mature, we discover that there will always be some who seem to have more, or are gifted with copious good fortune. The healing balm for envy is humility, acceptance and forgiveness, even in the face of bitter rivalry and anger, just as the constant refocusing of your energy into a positive and creative momentum in your own life is the best healer for the effect of jealousy.

Loss - Grief, Sadness, Resurrection

This card signifies a loss or disappointment of some kind. It could be a hope for something or a dream that now seemed destined to fail, or perhaps someone you love dearly moves on, or a partnership/relationship that seems likely to end.

Yet this card also signifies resurrection of that loss, which means that the perceived loss will either not eventuate, or what you lose will be returned to you in a new way or form. Gaia, the Earth Mother oversees this whole event; feel her love and guidance this very moment. She is here for you and will never leave you, for Gaia and you are one eternally. The wheel of life keeps turning - life is never still; yet every transformation turns the wheel a little closer to the starting point and nice this point is reached, another cycle / journey begins anew. There is no beginning without an end.

Why are you feeling so? Is it because the end of the 2014 is near? Look within and reflect the year past. What have you done, and what have you achieved. Give gratitude not only to what as been achieved, but also be grateful that what was lost was meant to be, or you will not have learnt/experienced much from that loss.

17 - The Pole Star

This card talks about the Universal Law, of high spiritual knowledge and power. It is the guiding light for both the inner light/knowledge - as is an inner sun, or as a physical guide down a path you've selected.

Things happen for a reason, like the earth that spins as with all cycles of nature. Don't lose faith in your own guide even when you're feeling lost. It has always been there, just that at this moment, it could be clouded for some reason. it could be a distraction, or maybe you had previously thought this current path you've chosen was a "better choice" at that point of time.

This card reminds us that there is a greater, unseen power in the universe that can manifest and balance the enormous gravity, light and energy that forms the heart of the star.

The Pole Star could also represent the Star of Destiny, indicating a new era, a new cycle or even a new phase of renewal is coming. This is the Maiden of the three feminine cards of the Major Arcana, indicating a new beginning. (Mother is the Green Woman, Crone is the Seer)

Ace of Vessels - The Water of Life

The flow of water fills the stream which supports the swan and the moon-cup, and also feeds the deer. The waters of life retain the ancient wisdom ready to be reawakened. The moonlit pool of the universe retains all memory, ready to renew the inspired quest.

The suit of Vessels represents all emotional aspects of the human self, and the Ace focuses on the pure essence of these powerful, yet elusive, traits. However far we humans have grown/evolved, we are still very much ruled by our emotions. Our powers of reason, intellect and science have given us misery of the oceans and skies, but what propels the drive to explore, invent and to build is still human desire and curiosity.

Our emotions need to e harnessed for positive ends, and suppressing our basic emotional needs will lead us to rebel ad become detached. So gather your emotional energies, and keep them in balance for healthy, creative and loving interaction with all of nature, including the sometimes irrational and destructive energies of humankind.

The scene is set at day break - a new day or beginning, a reawakening or awakened soul. The new moon re-emphasizes the new beginning.

One holds the wand of wisdom and drum, summoning all to gather and watch the sun rise. The two oak trees signifies a gateway, a path of new commitment, the point of no return, or a reminder that you are on a journey, that will have a start and ending.
The guardian of the sacred heart of the land, he summons you with the drum beat. It could be an unconscious beat that leads you to take a path, and to see it to the end. It could also be a beat to warm your heart, a reminder to end that hibernation that you have been in, reawakening the abundant life.

This card reminds you to take that leap of faith and acknowledge the path that you've taken - like it or not, the journey has already started. The new year is coming.. Trust that inner voice, listen to your own intuition and inquisitive nature.

Ace of Arrows - The Breath of Life

The Uffington White Horse, outlined on te green grass of the downs, stares out at us from the card. An arrow hangs above the eye, pointing outward to all possible futures.

The Uffington chalk hill figure breaths the vitality of life - a renewal of vitality combined with knowledge of where you wish to be and how to get there. It is believed that if one makes a wish in eye of the Uffington White Horse, one will gain wisdom and the wish will come true.

By breathing life into a thought and pursuing it to its material creation in the real world, we engage in an ancient and unique relationship with the universe and the divine. Our minds are inked to a greater consciousness, its power and effectiveness waiting only for the question. As one forms an idea or concept crystallizes in one's mind, the primal creative energies connects one to the Breath of Life. This energy can be summoned and applied to achieve one's conscious desire. Clarity of purpose is the key. At times an unconscious impulse or drive makes one aware of a hidden issue or need. Such issues may appear in dreams, often signalling their presence in this way because of a lack of attention paid to them, or a lack of confidence in our own processes and abilities. One unique connection with the universe ensures that those issues are brought into our everyday awareness.

Make a wish with intention, fire that arrow of intentions, let ideas grow wild - but not untamed. There is more to it than what you believe you have achieved or can achieve.

Abundance is free for all to take or achieve, just like the World Tree is there waiting for you to enjoy it's abundance. We all walk through challenges or through twists and turns - as with the labyrinth leading to the World Tree. We will all reach the end of the path if we persevere on. This can be material gain or wealth, or even spiritual happiness of emotional security. After a long process, it's time to enjoy the abundance of light, attainment and personal triumph.

This week surely send you off balance a little asking you to appreciate what's around you - with change kicking your ass on Sunday, which leads you to a day of healing, and today, seeking some form of justice.

Someone has been tipping the scale unfairly, and you are feeling it - the natural justice have been skewed by false judgement, ignorance or arrogance.
Always know that false conclusions will only lead to more confusion. These judgements are based on disinformation, motivated by fear, greed, and prejudice, and can cause innumerable problems - regardless intentionally or mistakenly distributed to pervert the course of natural justice. These individuals are afraid of the truth, or have in their being, ill-/personal- intentions that brings out the darker side of them. If we have the means to stop such unjust, we should always be brave and stand up for ourselves, for our rights; unvail yourself, use your arrows of justice, and fight on!

Seven of Stones - Healing

After battling some physical or emotional 'injury', a time of inner rest and rejuvenation is required. Patient and peaceful healing comes from a spiritual source, and wholeness and recovery will follow a series physical or emotional wounding.

The deepest stages of healing and recovery after any emotional trauma or physical injury is forgiveness - the most difficult being forgiveness of oneself.

If the healing is relationship related, many often hold on to the pain, mistakenly believing that it keeps us close to the source of the pain. At times we hang onto a sense of loss, loneliness, and betrayal associated with the failure of the relationship. Regret can also be associated with these feelings as one questions one's own motives and actions. Yet, if you have acted with integrity and sincerity, there is no need for regret; it is a waste of energy and healing focus. If regret is present, more work may be requited to understand its underlying causes.

One of the elements inherent in bringing healing and closure to any situation is acceptance along with self-forgiveness. Neither of us are perfect creatures, we make mistakes. Only by accepting the simple truths, can we bring healing to the suffering soul.

You are holding back on something again.. It's been a week plus since this card appears at the start of the month, and that something is bothering you. Unless you have volunteered for the task yourself, if you have been given the task/ responsibility, it's because you are trusted for it. There is no point avoiding now, why not take responsibility and work on it. The burden you are carrying now, may just be the bag of abundance you have been seeking for.

The Forest Lovers

Sacred Journey

Life Cycles, Family, Transformation

It is through the physical journey that Life walks on, but it's also through the spiritual space that a spiritual journey transcends. We are all born from earth, and to the earth we shall return. Yet spiritually we are never born and will never die, we never came, and will never leave.

The sacred journey reminds us that we are each so much more than our physical realities. In fact, from our soul's perspective, this current life is just one page in a never-ending book, which is the eternal story of life. We all have roles to play, with your family and loved ones playing their respective roles. Each playing a designed role to its maximum dramatic effect otherwise it would all get boring.

We are all actors, with a need to play our roles well. It is through these human dramas that we play, that we expand our understanding of love. The roles we play and the people we encounter help us grow. Through drama, we come to understand just how sacred life is. Thank your soul for the journey.

On a side note though, not all drama works for everyone.

Seven of Bows

Have you been holding on to something / an idea / someone? Reason out, with yourself, why you are doing so. Does it serve you any purpose for the need to hold on to them for so long?

Do think about that need for holding on, and embrace the reason, and let go. Don't hold them for too long, for you'll need some release / relief. By letting go, can you truly release yourself from what's holding you back from an even brighter future. Hold on for too long, you'll just wear yourself out.
