The Forest Lovers
This card represents a balance of relationships, a union of two individuals, an interchange of energies or passion - not the surrendering or domination of either, but a voluntary exchange of willpower and respect.
Arum Lilies (aka 'Lords and Ladies') symbolises union of male & female energies, and the generative energies that brings fruitfulness & harmony within the cycles of the year.
Forest Lovers serves as a reminder for us to embrace all states of personalities - male/female, masculine/feminine, active/passive, light/dark. Only by embracing all natures of personalities can we stress ourselves lesser.
